Glad Days

Let someone know that you appreciate having him or her in your life. Sometimes we forget how good it feels to be appreciated; yet we know how lousy it feels to be unappreciated. Go ahead and tell someone how thankful you are for his or her presence; it will only make you closer.

Love the Ones You’re With

I have seen this excellent exercise put into practice at work, family reunions, and dinner parties. It never fails to bring a group of people closer, and it brings out the best in anyone. Free Hugs for All!

Covid has been hard for those of us who thrive off of hugs. So once everything is lifted, be an indiscriminate hugger. When I first moved to California, I was bit taken aback by all the feelings of comfort, contemned, and security. Listening Is an Act of Love

Is a parent, sibling, spouse, or friend having a difficult time? Help them lift their spirits by letting them experience that loving feeling. Come home with takeout for the two of you, surprise them with a simple gift, or go on a drive together. Lean forward and listen closely. Just listen.
